Comparative and Global Studies in Education. Comparative education (referred to as Comparative and Global Studies in Education) is a concentration within the State-approved Ph.D. Program in the Social and Philosophical Foundations in Education or the General Masters in Education. The Center for Comparative and Global Studies in Education. CCGSE is a Graduate School of Education-wide center for coordinating scholarly activities, visitors, and seminars, although the focus has been primarily on the international research and activities of the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy.
