Since 1931 when GSE was established, over 11,000 students have graduated and moved on to successful careers as university presidents and administrators, principals, superintendents, psychologists, counselors, teachers, faculty and outstanding researchers. Our alumni are found in the profession literally all over the world. If you would like to enter the education profession, GSE is one of the best places in the country to pursue your studies.
We are proud of our award-winning faculty who are engaged in groundbreaking research that focuses on a wide range of educational issues, and who lead the school's collaborative research efforts with practitioners and community organizations. Faculty in this school are particularly interested in urban education and educational technology both of which are woven throughout the curriculum. As a student you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from faculty who have achieved national and/or international distinction in their fields of research.
