General Education with an emphasis on Technology in Education

The Graduate School of Education has been offering a complete online master's degree in general education since 2001. The program, designed for individuals already working in education, is also open to individuals with an interest in studying this exciting field. Past students have included teachers from all disciplines, employees of school districts, parents, and childcare workers.

The curriculum includes a concentration of courses in the area of technology in education. Upon completion, students will graduate with a master's degree, and a certificate of completion in technology in education. The goal of this concentration is to provide students in the program with a framework for understanding and integrating technology into their classrooms and to provide tools and techniques for assisting students in reaching learning objectives. The program also includes coursework in areas such as exceptional education, globalization, curriculum, educational standards, and writing.

The program features dedicated faculty who bring a special expertise found only at a top research university. These faculty, along with students from diverse backgrounds and educational experiences, create a dynamic interactive online learning experience.

We are currently accepting students for Fall 2007. Please review our program information page to find out if this degree program is right for you. Space is limited. We keep our class sizes small, allowing instructors to provide quality attention to each student.
