The Department of Counseling, School and Educational Psychology (CSEP) offers programs in the psychology of learning, as well as a variety of professional counseling experiences within the community. Our graduates work in public schools, in colleges and universities as members of the faculty or counseling center staff, and in private industry, government agencies, community social services agencies, and hospitals.
Faculty in graduate programs in the Department of Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology have been identified as one of the top 10 most productive departments in the United States by Academic Analytics. This ranking reflects faculty's scholarship in terms of the number of book and journal articles published by each program's faculty, as well as journal citations, awards, honors, and grants received.
