Teacher Certification Programs

The Teacher Education Institute (TEI) in coordination with the Department of Learning and Instruction (LAI), administers and coordinates the teacher certification program approved by the New York State Education Department; TEI prepares beginning professional teachers who are committed to the ongoing pursuit of teaching excellence and life-long learning. TEI coordinates the field experiences and student teaching components of the teacher education program.
