Mentoring

Program Requirements

The Mentoring curriculum involves 16 credit hours of course work and experiences. Courses and experiences in the mentoring core comprise 4 credit hours. The remaining 12 credit hours are distributed among the four component areas. Appropriate courses are selected with the assigned certificate advisor to design programs appropriate for individuals.

Mentoring Core – required courses/experiences

  • LAI 638 Research on Mentoring, with Mentoring Institute Practicum - 3 Credit Hours
  • CEP 700/ELP700/LAI 700 Mentoring Project/Presentation (capstone) - 1 Credit Hour
