Beginning Monday, March 31st at 10:00 a.m., the Center for Literacy and Reading Instruction (CLARI) will open the doors for our annual (and highly anticipated!) Scholastic Book Fair! The books we receive from Scholastic never fail to delight, and this year is no exception, with such titles as: Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney, Judy Moody Around the World in 8 1/2 Days by Megan McDonald, Skippyjon Jones in the Doghouse by Judy Schachner, and Tunnels by Roderick Gordon & Brian Williams — to name just a few of the great books that have arrived just in time for you and the special children in your lives.
In an effort to accommodate the busy schedules of everyone in GSE, we have expanded the days and the hours of our book fair. Please mark your calendars for the following days and times:
Dates: Monday, March 31 – Thursday, April 3rd, 2008
Time: 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
Location: 17 Baldy Hall (basement)
The CLARI staff will be on hand throughout the book fair to assist you with any questions you may have about book selection, favorite authors, or recommended titles for specific grade levels. We look forward to seeing you at this very special event!
